OCASG ONLINE: Failure – Friend or Foe

January 22 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Fear of failure is a psychological concept related to the anxiety or apprehension individuals may feel about not meeting expectations or standards, and it is often associated with performance-based situations. For individuals with autism, fear of failure may manifest in different ways. Some individuals with autism may be particularly sensitive to social expectations and fear not meeting these expectations, leading to social anxiety or withdrawal. Others may have specific interests or routines and may fear failure or disruption to these patterns. Join us as Dr. Alex Gantman discusses Failing – Friend or Foe.
